Okay, let me explain this because I get that it can be read wrong. This super awesome person here is Osric Chau and he is a BAMF and should not be messed with because he is a super ninja at like a thousand types of martial arts. He is also green because he went to Superhero Night as the Hulk. BAMF again.
Now he is also known from “2012”, “Kunf Fu Killer” and “Supernatural”. He lives in three different countries because why the hell not. No, literally, he is seriously compulsive and awesome.
He sat with me for a good 40 minutes at Asylum 10, at a party he didn’t even have to go to, and basically turned my life on a 180. For 40 minutes he told me how to get started in acting. He told me what to say and who to, how to make connections with the right people, what looks good on a resume and what’s gonna land you a job. He took his time and explained anything I didn’t understand. He really treated me like an equal when he could have brushed me off and gone to sit in the VIP area. He even bothered to learn my name, then proceeded to say hi to me and give me a hug when he saw me all weekend. He is the first person in however long that didn’t blow me off when I said I wanted to be an actress. He said “Yeah, I believe you. This is how to do it” and then told me he was expecting big things from me whenever he hugged me. He showed me, a complete stranger, some faith. The freaking life lessons he taught me were incredible. He taught me that if I wanted to do something in life, just to do it. And he seems pretty freaking happy about it too!
He wrote the message at the top of this (super awesome) picture “as a reminder” and told me to keep in touch, told me to message him whenever, for whatever.
He basically showed me so much respect and was so lovely to me all weekend that I am crying writing this. He was the reason I went to Asylum 10 and my god he was 239859 time more incredible that I ever expected. He made the con for me.
Osric Chau, ladies and gents, is a super awesome being. Thank you.
